How earwax affects hearing..

Blocked earwax is one of the most common cause of hearing loss.

This can happen if wax is pushed back toward the eardrum or if the ears produce more earwax than is needed.

Symptoms of impacted earwax include;

Earache.

Dizziness.

Feeling of fullness in the ear.

A sensation that the ear is plugged.

Tinnitus or ringing in the ear.

Your ear may also itch, have an odour, or a discharge.

Microsuction Ear Wax Removal

Microsuction is a method of ear wax removal. Ear wax is removed using a gentle suction and a high power microscope to view the ear canal and drum. It is the preferred method used by Ear Nose and Throat Doctors.

Good ear and hearing health is important to people of all ages and helps us get the most out of life. Our hearing can be affected by many factors, including age, the build-up of wax and the misuse of cotton buds and in-ear headphones.
